e-Payment Chandigarh is a unique initiative by the Department of Information Technology, Chandigarh Administration which aims at promoting e-Payment in UT Chandigarh. e-Payment Chandigarh provides a vital platform to pay Electricity and water bill through the mobile app.

Project Sampark was initiated in the September 2004 with an aim to bring together various public services under a single umbrella and give citizens of Chandigarh a “multi- service” - “single-window” experience apart from bringing transparency and effectiveness in public service delivery. Today, Chandigarh has a well knit extensive network of Sampark centres across its small area of 114 sq. Kms. Various Government-to-Citizen Services (G2C) and Business-to-Citizen (B2C) are provided through these centres and the bouquet of services has increased over the years. Sampark centres have become one-stop service centre for services of Departments like Engineering, Municipal Corporation, Excise and Taxation, DC Office, CTU etc. which are now accessible outside office hours and on Saturdays also. Over the years Sampark centres have become integral part of the public service delivery mechanism in the UT. Given it importance to the residents and Chandigarh Administration, a user friendly,
informative dedicated mobile-app ‘mSampark’ has been developed on the popular Android platform.
